THE LIFE AND TIMES OF LAWRENCE HENRY YAW OFOSU-APPIAH

200.00

The main purpose of publishing Lawrence Henry Ofosu-Appiah’s Memoirs is to officially document some aspects of Ghanaian History such as life in the early thirties and forties at Achimota School, which will officially celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2027; and early years at the University of Ghana, where Ofosu-Appiah lectured from 1949 to 1964, and fought for the rights of fellow Ghanaians. Furthermore, on the day His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo was sworn in as President, during his first term in office, we observed posters of prominent Ghanaians in the background, including one of Ofosu-Appiah with an erroneous cap􀆟on (Amon Nikoi), so after getting the mistake corrected, we decided to prevent our father from getting written out of Ghana History by publishing his memoirs posthumously.
